How it works
- Type a handle such as bsky.app, paste a did:plc value, or paste a link to a profile on bsky.app.
- Your browser asks Bluesky's public API for that profile. No account or key is needed.
- The page shows the fields Bluesky publishes for the profile, as plain text, with counts as of the moment you asked.
Handles and permanent IDs
A handle is the name people see, such as a domain they control. A handle can change. The did is the permanent identifier of the account and stays the same when the handle changes, so use the did when you need to refer to the same account over time.
Counts are read when you search, so they move from one look to the next. The creation date is shown in UTC.
What this viewer shows
Only fields that Bluesky makes public for anyone are shown. Private messages, who follows whom and posts are not part of this viewer.
If a handle does not exist you will see "No such profile". An owner can also choose to keep an account from appearing to signed-out viewers, in which case a profile that exists may not load here.
The public profile fields this viewer reads and what each one means
| Field | What it means |
|---|---|
| Display name | The name the owner chose to show above the handle. It can be empty. |
| Handle | The account name, usually a domain. It can change over time. |
| DID | The permanent identifier of the account. It does not change when the handle does. |
| Followers | The number of accounts that follow this profile. |
| Following | The number of accounts this profile follows. |
| Posts | The number of posts the account has published, as counted by Bluesky. |
| Account created | When the profile record was created, shown in UTC. |
| Verified | Shown only when Bluesky reports a valid verification on the account. Otherwise no badge appears. |

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Bluesky account to look someone up?
No. The profile endpoint is public and takes no key or sign-in, so this page works for anyone.
What can I paste into the box?
A handle such as bsky.app, the same handle with a leading @, a did:plc or did:web value, or a link to a profile on bsky.app. A link to a single post also works, because the profile is taken from the address.
Why does it say there is no such profile?
The handle may be misspelled, the account may have been deleted or renamed, or its owner may have chosen to hide it from signed-out viewers. Check the spelling, or try the did if you have it.
Why do the follower numbers differ from the app?
Counts change every moment and are cached for a short time by Bluesky, so a number here can trail the app by a little.
Is the bio safe to display?
The bio is shown as plain text only. Links or markup in it are not turned into clickable or active content.
