The NANPA report dated October 17, 2026 lists 197,646 central office codes (the six-digit area code and exchange prefixes) as assigned and in service, and 992,432 thousands-blocks as assigned. 71.7% of the in-service codes carry the pooled flag, and the ten largest holders by raw company name hold 26.3% of them.
Published 2026-10-19 - Email authentication census: SPF, DMARC and MX across three rank bands
We ran our own DNS lookups on 3,000 domains from the Majestic Million, 1,000 from each of three rank bands. Of the 2,754 that answered conclusively, 52.1% publish exactly one DMARC record and 34.2% publish one that enforces (quarantine or reject at full percentage). The share falls from 65.8% in ranks 1 to 1,000 to 10.1% in ranks 900,001 to 901,000.
Published 2026-10-19 - Unwanted-call complaints in FCC data
LookValid's copy of the FCC consumer complaint data, dated October 17, 2026, holds 987,161 unwanted-call complaints that name 719,132 different caller numbers. 35.5% of those complaints name a number that was reported more than once, even though only 11.5% of the numbers were.
