About LookValid
What LookValid is and what it is for
LookValid is one API key and one credit balance for phone, email, IP, domain and website lookups.
The short version
LookValid answers one question per call about a phone number, an email domain, an IP address, a domain or a web page. You send a value, you get structured JSON back, and you spend credits when the lookup finds something. Most lookups work this way; Link Safety Check charges every completed call.
There are 14 lookups you can call today. They all use the same API key, the same credit balance and the same error format, so adding a second lookup to a workflow is one more request, not a second vendor.
Where you can use it
- The REST API: see use the API and the quickstart.
- The dashboard: run a single lookup or upload a CSV, see bulk CSV jobs.
- The free tools: 13 of the lookups run in the browser at LookValid free tools with no account.
- AI clients: every lookup is also an MCP tool, see LookValid over MCP.
What it does not do
A lookup describes a value as it appears in public numbering plans, public records and open datasets. It does not contact the person behind a number or an address.
