How can SaaS teams check signups and enrich accounts from one API?
Call the email domain check, the IP lookup and the phone check at signup, then use the website scraper and domain authority score to fill in the company behind the account. Each result is a plain JSON field your signup and routing rules can read.
The problem
Free trials draw repeat signups, throwaway email domains and traffic from hosting ranges. They inflate the activation numbers, use trial resources and bury the accounts your sales team should call first.
Sales ops has the opposite problem. A real signup arrives with only an email, and someone has to open the company site to learn what it does and whether it is worth a call.
Both steps belong in the signup pipeline as small, fast calls. When each fact is a field in a response, a rule such as "hold trials from hosting ranges with disposable domains" fits in a few lines.

What LookValid does for this
| Check | What it gives you | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Flag throwaway and role addresses at signup | Reports whether the domain is disposable, a free provider or a role mailbox, with its MX, SPF and DMARC records. It cannot confirm that the mailbox exists. | 1 credit per address checked |
| Weigh the network behind a trial | Returns country, network owner and flags for hosting providers and Tor exit nodes, so a trial from a data center range can be held for review instead of provisioned right away. | 1 credit per lookup |
| Learn what the company site says | Fetches the public page for the signup domain and returns its title, description and readable text as markdown, ready for a summary on the account record. | 10 credits per successful scrape (errors, empty and blocked pages are free) |
| Rank signups by the strength of the domain | Returns a 0 to 100 link graph score with every input shown. Only domains inside the open rank lists are scored, so an unranked domain is not proof of a small company. | 10 credits per domain found in the rank data (an unranked domain is free) |
A real request and response
Pass the address a trial came from and read back its location, network and risk flags. This is a real captured request and response.

Questions
Do I need to run every check on every signup?
No. Each product is a separate call with its own credit cost, so many teams run the email and IP checks on every signup and the scraper only on accounts that pass.
Can the IP check identify a VPN user?
It flags Tor exit nodes and hosting provider ranges from open lists. A commercial VPN is not always detectable this way, so the vpn field can be empty.
Is there an MCP server for my own agents?
Yes. The free tools work over MCP without a key, and an API key unlocks every live product.
