# Cancelling a plan and asking for a refund

How to stop a plan, what happens to your credits and how a refund request is reviewed.

## Cancel a plan

To stop a plan, write to hello@lookvalid.com from the email on your account and say which plan. You will not be charged for the next period once it is cancelled.

Credits already in your balance stay yours and can still be spent on lookups.

## Ask for a refund

A first paid month can be refunded when you ask within the refund window. Write to hello@lookvalid.com from the email on your account and say which charge you mean. A person reviews each request and replies with the outcome.

## Chargebacks and disputes

If a charge looks wrong, write to hello@lookvalid.com first.
