# What LookValid stores about your lookups

The account, billing and lookup records we keep, how long cached results last and where to read the policy.

## What is kept

- Your account email and sign-in record, held by our authentication provider.
- A hash and a short prefix of each API key.
- A ledger of credit grants and spends.
- The result of each completed lookup, so that repeats are free for 7 days. It belongs to your account and is not shown to other accounts.
- A request log of what you called and what it cost, which feeds your usage and history pages.

## Bulk files

Rows from a bulk CSV job are kept for 30 days after the job finishes, or 2 days after one is cancelled or fails, and then deleted.
