LookValid is one API key and one credit balance for lookups on phone numbers, email domains, IP addresses and websites. You call a product, get JSON back and spend credits. The same lookups are available to AI agents over MCP and to people through the free tools on this site. ### Which lookups can I use today? 14 lookups are live, covering phone numbers, email domains, IP addresses, websites and more. They are Phone Numbering-Plan Validation, Country Calling Codes, Email Domain Check, IP Intelligence, Phone Spam Check, Link Safety Check, Carrier Lookup (original carrier), VIN Decoder, Link-in-Bio Lookup, Domain Authority, Domain Age, Website Scraper, Website Contacts Scraper, Site Files Checker. The products page lists each one with its credit cost. ### How do I get an API key? Email hello@lookvalid.com and we set up your account and your API key. A key is shown once, so copy it when you receive it. You can keep several keys and ask us to revoke any of them. ### Can I try a lookup without an account? Yes. The free tools run real lookups in the browser with no account. By default a visitor can run 25 lookups a day, 5 of them in any minute, and the same lookups are on the API when you need volume. ### Where does the data come from? Results come from open datasets, public registries and public web pages, and each result lists its sources. A lookup whose source is down returns an error and costs nothing. ## Credits and plans ### How do credits work? Every product spends from one shared balance, and each product has a fixed price in credits. Most lookups charge only when they find something, and Link Safety Check charges for every completed lookup. A lookup that fails on a data source or is rejected for bad input costs no credits. ### Do repeat lookups cost credits? No. Repeating the same lookup within the product's cache window returns the stored result for your account at no charge. The window is 7 days for most products and shorter for Link Safety Check and Site Files Checker. ### What do the plans cost? Plans start at $99 a month for 20,000 credits. Starter is $99 for 20,000 credits, Growth is $299 for 85,000 credits, Professional is $799 for 250,000 credits. Enterprise starts at $1,999 a month for 1,000,000 credits and is set up on a call. Book one at https://lookvalid.com/book-a-call. Billing yearly costs 10 months for twelve. ### What happens to credits I do not use? Unused monthly plan credits stay spendable for 3 months. ### Is there a trial? Yes. The Starter, Growth and Professional trial costs $1 to start, lasts 7 days and starts with 100 credits. When the 7 days end, the plan starts and your card is charged for the first month unless you cancel first. The trial page shows how to start. ### Do you have a plan above the largest one? Yes. Above 1,000,000 credits a month, custom plans start at $1,999 a month. Book a call at https://lookvalid.com/book-a-call and we will size it with you. ### Can I get a refund? A first paid month can be refunded within 7 days. Write to hello@lookvalid.com from your account email and a person reviews the request. ### How do I cancel? Write to hello@lookvalid.com from your account email and say which plan to cancel. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for. ## API and agents ### What are the rate limits? Each API key can send 200 requests per 10 seconds, on every plan, and an account can run 16 lookups at once. Responses carry headers that show how much allowance is left, and a rejected request is never charged. ### Can an AI agent use it? Yes. Every live lookup is a plain HTTP call with a JSON body and a JSON answer, so an agent can use it with an API key and nothing else. The free tools work without a key under per-visitor limits. Every call costs what the matching lookup costs. ### Is there an OpenAPI document? Yes. The docs have one reference page per endpoint, with the request fields, the response fields and the credits each call costs, at https://lookvalid.com/docs/api. ## Your data ### Do you store what I look up? The request log keeps the product, the credits charged, the outcome and the time, and it does not contain the number, domain, address or URL you looked up. To make repeats free, the result of a completed lookup is stored for your account for 7 days. ### How do I delete my account and data? Open Settings in the dashboard and use the delete account request, or write to hello@lookvalid.com from your account email. Deleting removes your keys, history and remaining credits. ### How do I report a problem or a security issue? Write to hello@lookvalid.com. For a lookup problem include the request id from the response.
